Ajman Free Zone · The navigator's house

The compass, with an engine.

A bearing tells you where to point. Pyxidyne supplies the force to sail it — the house's mark for turning AI strategy into implemented, compliant reality. Guidance, made powerful.

The meaning of Pyxidyne

See the bearing. Supply the force.

The house is named for the sky: every name is a star, or an instrument for finding your way among them. Pyxidyne fuses two of those ideas into one word.

🧭

Pyxis — the compass

Greek πυξίς (pyxís), a lidded boxwood box, gave its name to the mariner's compass housing — Pyxis Nautica — and, in the 1750s, to the southern constellation Pyxis, carved by Lacaille from the ship Argo Navis. Precision, containment, guidance.

⚙️

dyne — the force

Greek δύναμις (dýnamis) — power, the capacity to act. It is the unit of force, the push that moves a mass, and the root beneath dynamo and dynamic. A compass shows the bearing; a dyne is the engine that turns it into arrival.

🚀

Pyxidyne — the fusion

Pyxis + dyne, Greek set against Greek with no seam: the compass with an engine. Built exactly like Cognitian and Pyxian from the same Pyxis root — a natural sibling, not a bolt-on.

In short — where Pyxian names a temperament, Pyxidyne names a capability: the compass that doesn't just point, but pulls.

Position

Where the house makes way.

Cognitian knows the sky. Prime Horizon reads the horizon. Pyxian holds the bearing. Pyxidyne is the fourth move — the one that turns a fixed heading into motion, carrying AI strategy and advice through to implemented, compliant reality.

Advice, made real

Strategy is where most engagements stop. Pyxidyne is the mark for the work that gets built, integrated, and actually runs.

AI at the core

From readiness and use-case selection through to deployed, governed AI systems — the full arc, not a slide about the future.

Tied to the house

Where Prime Horizon's strategy and Cognitian's engineering surface the need to act, Pyxidyne carries the engine that moves it.

Compliant by design

Governance and regulatory fit built in from the first decision — EU AI Act, GDPR and responsible-AI discipline, not a bolt-on audit.

Capability

Strategy, built and assured.

AI strategy, consulting, implementation and compliance — the arc where a true bearing has to become arrival. Six practice lines, one integrated relationship.

Approach

Bearing, force, way.

01

Set the bearing

Discovery and strategy — agree the true heading, not the nearest light, before anything is built.

02

Design the course

Architecture and plan tied to outcomes at every decision point. You approve before we build.

03

Supply the force

Build, integrate and implement — with compliance and testing embedded throughout, not bolted on.

04

Make way

Deliver, assure and hand over. You own what we build — motion measured by arrival, not effort.

The navigator's house

One sky, many bearings.

Pyxidyne sits within a wider house of companies and coined names — each a star, or an instrument for finding your way among them.

CyberTRiSM sits alongside the set, not inside it — deliberately functional rather than celestial: the security & AI-TRiSM advisory practice that says exactly what it does.

Why this name

Engineered to sound engineered.

  • One root, two moves. Pyxis for the bearing, dyne for the drive — a whole thesis in nine letters.
  • Greek against Greek, no seam. The two halves fuse without a joint you can hear; the word reads as one object, not a portmanteau.
  • The dyne is the engine. δύναμις — dynamo, dynamic, force: the drive that turns a fixed bearing into arrival.
  • A natural sibling. Built exactly like Cognitian and Pyxian, from the same Pyxis root — it belongs in the house, not bolted onto it.
“A compass shows you the bearing; a Pyxidyne supplies the engine to sail it.”
